As a member of the Poetry Society of Colorado, I found myself compelled to enter EVERY contest offered. Once of the regular topics was cowboy poetry. Not exactly my niche, but the contest director was ofter looking for people to write something to make sure that the contest would be able to run. So I set myself to writing Cowboy Poetry. I've won prizes for all of them. I hope you will like them too.
