My life has not been without its interesting and entertaining moments. So I will share these with you, as well as some random thoughts and ideas. The subjects for this kind of post will include, but hardly be limited to, dealing with wildlife, UFO sightings, dreams, politics, convenience stores, Christmas, obsessive behavior, life in general, and my inability to participate in sports.
I was born and raised and still live in Boulder, Colorado. This in and of itself provides a great deal of creative input. I live in the "real" Boulder of aging hippies, ashram refugees, and regular people who have to work hard for a living, not the moneyed yuppies of more recent years. Though in the city I am surrounded by wildlife. And my home is a trailer. Not a "mobile home." But a 1957 trailer like the one in the Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz comedy "The Long, Long Trailer."
I was raised by a free-spirited, New Age mother and a strict Presbyterian Father. I decided that I wanted to be a writer by the time I was 8 and became a sci fi geek by the time I was 12. Odd things happen to me and around me from time to time.
And my car's name is Zsa Zsa.
